Job Description
The caregiver (worker), under professional supervision, provides client assistance and general household management on a 24-hour or on an hourly basis, depending on the client’s needs.
We offer both part-time and full-time positions for hourly/come and go and also for live-in caregivers.
Caregiver’s Job Description:
- Observation of client functioning and reporting changes, if any, to his/her supervisor;
- Assists client with household chores, including cooking and meal preparation, ordinary cleaning and laundry;
- Assists clients in completing activities such as shopping and appointments outside of the home;
- Companionship;
- Assistance with activities of daily living and personal care;
Job Requirements:
- You must have completed elementary school.
- A minimum of one-year experience of providing client care.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand Italian.
- You must be capable of physical exertion: stand, walk, squat, bend, lift, …
- Up-to-date Driver’s License (if you are an caregiver who drives)
- Auto Insurance (if you are caregiver who drives)
- Social Security Number (Codice fiscale)
- Health card (Tessera sanitaria)
- Proof of Residency (yes, even if you are a Italian citizen): Passport or Identity Card
